Our vision as KGR is to become Africa’s world-class resources company.

Kgoshi Global Resources (Pty) Ltd is a South African based mining and energy company focused on selected minerals economies and specialist natural resources projects and markets. It is the brainchild of three aspirant industrialists who seek to create value in the natural resources wealth of South Africa and the rest of the continent. Against the backdrop of an insatiable demand for its resources, Africa is widely considered as the new economic frontier on the cusp of a major investment boom. According to the African Development Bank, in 2012 the continent's natural resources accounted for 77% of its exports while 42% of government revenue also came from natural resources.

Seven of the world's emerging economies are in Africa and KGR's growth trajectory which will be both organic and acquisitive is inextricably linked with the growth of these economies. Over the past few years KGR devoted its time and efforts towards the creation of robust and dependable ecosystems across resources value chains that are poised to leverage our position in different geographies and markets within the continent and beyond.

Our management team possesses an arsenal of skills and experience gained through involvement in complex operational environments spanning banking services, construction, consulting, deal structuring and public services. The insights and experiences of our team cohered in a strategic fit to create a world–class resources company governed by a strong set of ethics and committed to the socio-economic development of the African continent in the context of sustainable development.
